The Board of Trustees of the Deep Foundations Institute (DFI) recently appointed a new member to the Board of Trustees of the DFI Educational Trust, the charitable arm of DFI.
Judith Gorog-Petit was elected to serve as an at-large member for a two-year term. Gorog-Petit is currently CFO of Skyline Steel LLC, subsidiary of Nucor Steel in Parsippany, N.J. Prior to joining Skyline Steel, her 20-year career in finance included the position of CFO of French company Ugitech SA (formerly a member of the Arcelor Group) and controller of J&L Specialty Steel.
Gorog-Petit attended the Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest, Romania, and earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Université of Liège, Belgium. She is a former member of the Romanian National ski team and is currently a nationally-ranked triathlete.
