- Kseniya Davydova is a junior studying civil engineering. She heads the Corporate Relations Committee for Engineers Without Borders and organizes events to raise money for the club’s trips to Nicaragua.
- Chaddy Ismail is a junior civil engineering student. He is the president of Tau Beta Pi, the national engineering honors society, and is a research assistant on a project studying how bridge deterioration affects traffic patterns.
- Yongnian Nie is a senior civil engineering student focusing on structural engineering. During his junior year, he worked for a construction company and participated in many projects that involved building foundation design, such as underpinning, which inspired him to study foundation design.
The Stanley Merjan City College of New York Civil Engineering Scholarship Fund was established in 2010 and is named for Stanley Merjan, an inspiration and mentor to young engineers throughout the construction industry, and a graduate of CCNY.
