The Metro NYC section of DFI’s Women in Deep Foundations (WiDF) Committee is presenting a series of webinars to support and connect industry participants during this challenging COVID-19 time. The webinar series includes guest presenters discussing thought-provoking issues related to moving past the crisis to accepting opportunities it could provide for a better tomorrow. Each 1-hour webinar launches with a brief, uplifting arts feature including a musical or story contribution. Question and answer time is included.
The first webinar, Wednesday, May 27 from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM EST, features a talk “Our Thoughts and Experiences During the COVID-19 Global Pandemic,” by Jared Green, P.E., and Dr. Camille Green —a husband and a wife…a dad and a mom…a geotechnical engineer and an internal medicine physician.
Jared is a senior associate and vice president at Langan Engineering and Environmental Services and is one of the owners of this international land development engineering consulting firm. Camille is an attending physician at the Ripa Center for Women’s Health and Wellness at Cooper University Healthcare and an assistant professor of medicine at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University.
The second webinar on Tuesday, June 9 from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM EST features a talk by leadership coach
Jamie Lee on “How to Lead with Resilience in the Crisis.” She will discuss how to gain a neutral perspective so you can feel emotionally in control, simple strategies for dealing with stress and emotional fallout without snapping at people or repeating mantras, and how to create a future focus that generates power and motivation.
