Registration is open for DFI’s S3: Slopes, Slides and Stabilization Conference, July 26-28, at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel in Tennessee. The event is led by DFI’s Deep Foundations for Landslides/Slope Stabilization Committee and the DFI-ADSC Anchored Earth Retention Committee with contributions from six additional DFI committees that support the subject matter.
The 2.5-day event provides the latest on available technologies, design concepts, research and case histories for challenging slope and landslide repairs, excavation support, and slope stabilization projects using deep foundation and ground improvement methods. The conference also features the annual Software Discussion, where a problem is presented to slope stability software providers who discuss, analyze and present solutions.
The conference and program chair is Timothy Siegel, P.E., G.E., D.GE, CEO and senior principal engineer at Dan Brown and Associates, chair of DFI’s Ground Improvement Committee and co-editor-in-chief of the DFI Journal. The conference committee co-chairs are Christopher Ramsey, P.E., of Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions and chair of DFI’s Deep Foundations for Landslides/Slope Stabilization Committee; Edward Laczynski, P.E., of Wagman Heavy Civil; and Jeff Segar, P.E., S.E., of GeoStabilization International. Laczynski and Segar are co-chairs of the DFI/ADSC Anchored Earth Retention Committee.
The event includes an exhibit area where up to 35 DFI member companies have opportunities to showcase innovative products and services.
