The 2019-20 DFI Traveling Lecturer Willie M. NeSmith, P.E., delivered his presentation on Design Methodologies for Cast-In-Place Piles at CalGeo’s October Regional Meeting.

This lecture examined the development and evolution of cast-in-place piles in the United States and Europe and described current industry equipment and installation practice. Conventional continuous flight auger (CFA) and drilled displacement piles were addressed.
