DFI Europe, a regional chapter of the Deep Foundations Institute (DFI), announces three new members to its Board of Trustees.
Jorge Capitao-Mor is the director of GEO – Ground Engineering Operations in Portugal. He has been with the company, which specializes in the development of polymer-based slurries as a support fluid for soil stabilization, since 2004 and has worked in the industry for 23 years. Capitao-Mor earned his BSc in production engineering at Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa.
Miika Eskelinen is vice president of Junttan Oy in Finland. In this role he is responsible for Junttan’s distribution network and its development as well as Junttan’s Global Key Accounts. He has been with the company for more than 10 years, starting as sales director. He has worked in the international equipment business for more than 20 years.
Pieter Arie Kraaijeveld is the managing director of Volker Staal en Funderingen BV in The Netherlands. He has been with the company, which specializes in heavy and complex steel structures and foundation techniques, since 2009. He has worked in the foundation industry for over 28 years and earned his MSc degree in river engineering at TU Delft.
DFI Europe (www.dfi-europe.org) was formed in 2005 as a DFI Regional Chapter for European DFI Members, who enjoy the benefits of joint DFI and DFI Europe membership.
