The complete technical program for SuperPile ’18 is available online at www.dfi-superpile.org. The conference, hosted by DFI in partnership with ADSC, is being held on June 27-29, 2018, at the New York Marriott Marquis in New York City.
Pre-conference activities on Wednesday, June 27, include DFI Technical Committee meetings and the DFI Women in Deep Foundations Committee Networking Reception that kicks-off SuperPile. The event is being held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Haven Rooftop at the Sanctuary Hotel, located at 132 West 47th Street.
The Plenary Session on Thursday, June 28, opens with a Keynote Address by Jerry DiMaggio, P.E., D.GE, of Applied Research Associates, Inc., on Risk in Geoconstruction and Geoengineering. The keynote is followed by 12 presentations by invited speakers and a Panel Discussion on 21st Century Concrete Specifications.
Parallel Sessions on Friday, June 29, provide attendees the option to choose presentations of interest. Invited and selected presentations will highlight advancements, innovations and challenges in design and construction of deep foundations, particularly related to piling solutions.
Equipment, material and instrumentation suppliers, contractors, engineers and other vendors will exhibit their products and services during the three-day event.
