The 2019 Conference provided an international forum for a wide range of geo-professionals to present, discuss, and debate all aspects of how we build on our current success to create and maintain a better tomorrow for us and future generations.

Proceeds from the race raised money to provide scholarships to students pursuing careers in the deep foundations engineering and construction industry. An “on-the-run“ breakfast was provided to each participant.

The 2018-2019 DFI Traveling Lecturer John R. Wolosick, P.E., D.GE, F.ASCE delivered his presentation on Stabilization work from Normandy Beach in France at Pointe du Hoc.

DFI Europe, in collaboration with the DFI Testing and Evaluation Committee, organized a one-day seminar regarding existing and innovative methods in pile integrity testing.

This 2.5-day course covered engineering, mix designs, materials, equipment, ACI Codes and specifications, construction, inspection, QA/QC, and field demonstrations used for civil and geotechnical, underground construction, shaft/tunnel, and mining projects.
